tartan is totally correct...this method is available several places on the net (youtube is only one) and is called the 3D Bowtie... all she did was make it big....which anyone has the option to do to any block.... I have made many bed sized quilts with one large block for the entire top of the bed, adding sizing strips and borders to make it the right proportions.... and so have lots of other quilters... there's nothing new under the sun...
