I have own a Kenmore ever since I first started sewing about 35 years ago. I've had it in for service once and that time the needle was inserted incorrectly. They cleaned and oiled it and the cost was $70. I use it for all of my piecing when quilting. I also own a Viking embroidery machine but I still use the Kenmore for everything except embroidery. You cannot go wrong with a Kenmore sewing machine.
