The Book of the Total Care and Feeding of Husbands. Sometimes it is easier to replace the husband or forget about having one. So many men are completely ruined by our early desire to be the best wife ever. The husbands get totally spoiled. Big mistake on our part!
Example for today. It snowed six inches here last night. I had to shovel the snow off the deck so I could open the storm door. Slogged out to feed and water the chickens. Got the ladder out and raked the snow off the dog kennel so it would not collapse. Got my mother up, changed her and made her breakfast. Made my own at the same time. Then not so DH asked me where his breakfast was! Politely informed him that the least he could have done was to fix me breakfast while I was taking care of MY chores. Well, I don't think he liked my response because I am getting the "long long long silence". Too Bad, at least I will not be interrupted while I am sewing today.
