Hey Judith 1005, a tip that I learned from a book from Mary Sue Collins who does minatures a lot, is that when you cut be sure to put the line on the full side of the fabric and not to edge, that sliver can make or break an accurate block, especially in minatures. You can tell on an Omni Grid ruler, the yellow lines and black lines for measuring. Try on a yellow line setting the full yellow on the side of the main piece of fabric and then cut. This does help.
