I have never been to one but really want to. My guild does one each spring at a convent with another guild. I hear it is beautiful and the nuns prepare wonderful food for them. It just doesn't seem to be in my budget although it is reasonable price for the nights lodging and food. Maybe next year I will be better situated.

I have used my time share because there are a couple within an hours drive from me. A few girlfriends come for the weekend and we move the furniture and set up our sewing machines. We usually divide up the meal responsibilitys for lunch and supper. Usually each person is responsible to provide one meal. Everyone is on there own for breakfast so there is no required wakeup time. Sometimes we go to a quilt store or local eatery or just enjoy the pool and hot tub at the resort. It is great and doesn't really cost me anything since I never seem to use all my timeshare time up each year.

That is about as far as my planning goes other than picking the date.
