if you like the machine and the rest of it is still in good shape- repair it- no sense in giving up a good machine you like just because it needs some repair-
you might want to talk to the guys at the dealership-when they repair it and ask why it wore out- if there is something you should be doing differently so it does not happen again. i've had my viking for 10 years and the only thing i've worn out is...hmmm
nothing that i can think of
and i've been using it 30-50 hours a week consistantly for those 10 years
