Default Storing DJ Blocks

I try to prepare my blocks in advance so each block gets a small sandwich size plastic bag:

- Print the pattern with the colors that I have selected (I would get into trouble if I didn't).
- Trim it to fit into the bag and write the name on the back. I also take notes on the back = "what not to do next time".
- If I am doing EPP, the pattern is printed on card stock. If paper foundation, regular paper.
- I number the EPP patterns and then cut them up.
- Select fabrics and cut accordingly.
- Dump in the bag and the block is ready to sew.

Blocks to sew go in my travel quilting bag (a small purse sized plastic carrier) and finished blocks go in a plastic container about 6"x 6".

BTW - my notes include the dates that I printed and prepared the block as well as when it was completed. I don't know what I will do with all if it when I am done, just keeping track of what I can now.

Hope this helps. F
