I am a little excited. I bought a white Featherweight yesterday for $325. And it works! Has the case with it, and an original instruction book featuring the white machine. The only problem is that the wheel you loosen for bobbin winding keeps jiggling loose when sewing. So then I have to tighten it again and it sews maybe 10" then comes loose again. Any idea how to fix this? Otherwise it is good, I looked up the serial number, it is a 1963, the year we were married, so that is easy to remember.
I have a black one that I got on our 28th anniversary, it is in super condition, a 1950.
