Follow the thread of FWPQ and PQ on QB. Laura Aaron Hird has written the Farmers Wife's Sampler Quilt which we did as a group; now we are following her second book just released last fall: Farmers Wife's Pony Quilt. About the magazine published in 1912? to 1939 that gave children a pony, bridle, and saddle for selling $$$ worth of subscriptions to their magazine. She, I understand sells the book on her blog. Local Quilt Shops also sell it, as does Amazon & probably Connecting Threads.
It contains a CD with the patterns on it. We are all excited about the project, reading the stories about the children, and sharing the blocks each of us make.
