Default North Dakota Hi!!!

Greetings! I have lived in North Dakota all my life. Next year I plan on collecting Social Security. Have sewed for others since I was 14. Mom would cut the pattern out (because I didn't like to) and then I would sew it (because she didn't like to). Over the years I drifted away from it, raised a daughter, worked and such. Took up quilting about 10 years ago, because someone at our church asked me to join their group (Just Get It Done Sometime). I had 700 yards of fabric in the house at the time, because I did fabric notecards, note pads and ledgers. But nothing that I wanted to quilt with, so out to the stores I went. Over the last years I became addicted to paper piecing. Just love it and it works well with my traveling sales business. I can pick it up and put it down easily. Six months ago my Mother came to live with us and has since been diagnosed with Alzheimers. So I am not home 99% of the time and have taken up quilting again with a passion. Mom can sit in her lift chair, read or sleep and I can quilt to my hearts content. Have so enjoyed the quilting board. Thanks to all of you for keeping me grounded.
