Yes dark cornerstones. like Jill suggested. It is so pretty. I put on two borders measuring them on the quilt, not measuring tapes involved. Then after they are sewn and pressed, I measure for the last two using the fabric for the border itself. No numbers, no math.

You could just add corner stones out of selected fabric that is already in your quilt! Maybe it was just an idea waiting to happen rather than a mistake!
