I absolutely agree. When you want a machine that sews a beautiful straight stitch, go vintage. Think this new one looks weird as well. If they wanted to make a commemorative machine, why didn't they make it just like the vintage machines. No frills, metal parts, straight stitch, last forever. This new one won't be able to hold a candle to the vintage machines.
