I think the lines of the new machine are nice, but I wouldn't have it if it was given to me. Plastic body, plastic gears, electronics that will eventually go out a lot faster than metal wears out! I think Singer isn't even trying to get to real vintage machine folks but capitalizing on the terminology and looks for those who aren't familiar with the true quality in the vintage machines. Like I said, cute but no way.
