I have a Juki also, and in reading various topics tonight I came across some saying you should not back stitch with a walking foot (which I have been doing). So, I took out the manual and it does not say you should not back stitch. I may call the shop where I bought the machine, or call or email Juki directly. I will post the anser they give me.

My Juki manual says nothing about it but my Brother machine

says you should not.
The reason I,m asking is I have been locking in my stitches and
the foot, (Juki) is starting to make a groaning noise, (only way to
describe it) and you can hear it from other rooms.
I,m wondering if I did something wrong in doing this or not.
I appreciate input from all you experts.
Thanks,
Elaine
