Hi Sharon,

I’ve been waiting to see a photo of your Singer 201K4 HC/Treadle. Thanks for posting it. It looks good! I got to see your Singer 66-1 “in action” at the Northeast Texas TOGA, but I hadn’t seen your 201K before now. I can’t tell for sure from the photo, but is your 201K4 in a straight-leg (metal) treadle cabinet?

One of my newest acquisitions is a 1948 Singer 201K4 that I picked up in Mesquite Texas. It was electric when I got it, but now has a spoked hand wheel (from a 66) and a Singer hand crank (from a 28), so I have it set up as a portable. I also picked up a 1940s Singer straight-leg (metal) treadle that I may use with my 201K4 and some other Singer heads that I have. We ran out of room for cabinets a while back, but I may have to make a spot in the house for this treadle cabinet. I don’t have a Singer treadle in the herd currently, and since I like Singers, I probably should have at least one.
