The L500 is a low shank machine but the part that the feet snap on is wider than normal. I do have a part that I got for my vintage singers so I could use snap on feet and tried it on the L500 and it worked. I couldn't see from the picture on the web site if it was a snap on foot or had it's own part to screw onto the needle bar. Check it out.
