too funny---i've been a pretty (real quilter) for something like 35 years...and have many many quilts with white backs- and with white backgrounds- and i know many, many quilters who always use white- trying to get them to be adventurous and use a print is like pulling teeth...so i just find this statement funny-
as a quilter you should use what you want that works best for the outcome you are looking for
