The electrical/electronic curse run in families, from mother's to daughters, to grandaugters, etc. My grandmother was afraid of electric stoves, because she had been shocked by my aunts. My mother nevered touched the radio or tv, becuase it would, once again, mess up or quit.

As I type on my pc, the is tiny morse code noise going in the back ground, but I can ignore it as it is also on my tv. I have a cabinet for dead tom-toms, electronic cameras, different flat 1/2 telephone/1/2 computers, and worse of all is a collection of rechargeable batteries and the rechargers. I cook batteries.

Sewing machines? Well I buy the expensive extented warrenty, sold by the local dealer. We are good friends, my electonic machines like to visit him. Yes I do have a 1921 Singer treadle and that mechanical beauty just keeps on sewing.
