I love the story about trying to sneak in the 'hay bale'! I have done that before with large objects which could not be moved into the house under prying eyes of DH - I shudder to think that when he retires he'll have even more time to try to micro-manage me. LOL
I keep my leftover batting squished in kitchen garbage bags in the closet and stuffed between books and boxes on the closet shelves, and just yesterday I went to grab a remnant for a table runner, and what was tucked inside but a dried-up old acorn! I'd better pull it all out and find the nest!
