Thank you so much for the link to Edie's tutorial. Absolutely great, and so easy to follow. I particularly like the way Edie did the folding and machining for the window and think I might try that one of these days. Many years ago when the girls were small I made a Cathedral Window cot quilt all by hand. I used to have the squares of white cotton (I think it was a poplin) by the ironing board and every time I did some ironing I ironed a few squares. These were then transfered to my basket by my arm chair to sew together in the evenings, and then finally placing the panes in the middle. If I did the machined windows I could work much faster. I still love doing hand work - find it theraputic.
