If you have one local, a tack shop might be able to repair it there or have info on where to send it to be repaired. I do not have an expensive machine like that but if I did, I wouldn't use it for fear of damaging the machine. Like an earlier poster stated, an older vintage Singer or other machine would be able to handle it.
