I've had vertigo and it is really awful. I was seen by an ear nose and throat specialist who did testing and treatment that was effective, unpleasant, but effective. I followed that up at home with some maneuvers called Epley maneuvers. You can google it and find examples. It helped keep the vertigo from returning. I hope you continue to be able to sew.
