Thanks, everyone! I just finished handquilting the center, and what a challenge it was with all the seams. BUT, I pushed through, and now it looks even more 3D. Next is the background of the star, which I'm thinking of doing 1/4" lattice, and then my feathers and cables on the outside. Love how handquilting projects really evolve as you make progress.
