thanks for replies to hand quilting/machine quilting
Thank you so much for all the replies about my quandry on hand/machine/LAQ a mariners compass...queen sized. You girls are terrific! I'm still not sure what I'll do, but all of your replies helped the two of us discuss this without getting upset with each other. Actually, I was the only one upset. He never forces me to do things I don't want to do(well, maybe sailing the first year we had our sailboat...ha), but I wanted DH to understand that hand quilting isn't the only way to do things anymore. He gets it now, and I also understand why it's an emotional issue with him as a way to honor his mother. I had so many interesting replies and I really appreciate that so many people took the time to reply. That's why this is such a wonderful site. Thank you all, Sandi
Now it's back to the machine to continue my paper piecing of the compass. I'm about 90% done with the huge center compass.
