Default It's Not a Crib Quilt Anymore...

I started this thread when I had put together a bunch of rejected audition blocks: http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...t-t173278.html It was a crib size, and I asked if it would be appropriate for a baby.

I had some fabric left over and decided that I would put a scrappy checkerboard border around it to make it into a lap-size quilt. I'm going to put it over my couch in the living room. The blues match my wall pretty well.

This is the first quilt that I did all of the quilting on my domestic machine. It's mostly stitch-in-the-ditch, but I did timidly venture into a bit of free motion. The vine was fun to do. I may try feathers on my next quilt.
