You probably need to immobile your wrist to give it a rest, if you can go to a physio's office, and pick up a arm brace
that the strap wraps around your thumb and the brace travels up the arm to the joint in your elbow, which supports your wrist right up to your elbow, (the closure is velcro), this is what happened to me per my Doctors advice. It really made a difference, I found I could do a lot more things when wearing the brace, now I have a brace for each arm.

So sorry this happened to you, and hopefully it will be feeling better real soon. Try spend many of your hours checking out various quilting videos on the web, you know how quickly time flys doing that, and - you can use your left hand with the mouse. Best Wishes!!!
