kdcandy......I hope you have found the February Cat pattern by now. As for paper piecing, the Cat block is a very easy one to make. It is also up to the person making their block on how they want arrange their block pieces. Ronda & I chose to make two of the cat blocks with two different 9 patches to go with it. But you can make just one cat, or two, or three, or four cat blocks. I see many ways that this block could turn out to be. So use your imagination & create a beauty for all of us to see!! We can hardly wait to see them posted.
