HeeHaw, cowgirls & cowboys...what's on for supper?? Beans, morning, noon and night. Its rare for the working cowperson to eat lunch, 'cause they are busy working.

So happy its modern days on the farm or ranch, so we can enjoy our meals and try new recipes with no beans. Our daughter ate black beans 3 meals each day she was on a school trip to Mexico for 10 days; never has touched one since.
PM me QuiltE with your email and I will send you the mouth-watering minestrone recipe that will freeze or store in the refrigerator for a week. You can publish it here if you want too. My dh demands my chili soup on winter days. But with the temps running in the 50s and up to 70s, its fried chicken time. Diped in buttermilk and flour, then fried. Biscuits and gravy to go with that chicken. For breakfast, its waffle time, with scrambled eggs on the side.
