Feed sacks were produced prior to the depression era and during that era and into the 40's. They are what flour, sugar, and other staples came in. They're fabric and during the periods many magazines published patterns from different manufacturers for clothes and/or quilts so more women would their brand. And yes.....like anything else that has to do with our quilting these are highly addictive! LOL!!
