I did the same thing... I LOVE LOVE LOVE feedsacks.. Ive got two 30gal tubs of feedsacks- most from local auctions for pennies a bag... I haven't used any of them in a quilt yet- i don't have the heart to cut into the bags.. I love looking at the holes the strings left on the sides of the bags and wondered who bought this one and what were they planning on making...
So with that said I started buying 1930s reproductions and its still hard cutting into them but I do love the quilts they turn out to be..
