I went to her tutorial and cut/pasted her instructions, for all of us who want it. This is exactly what her #51 post says in that thread.

My bad. Actually you need 50 coordinating 9" pieces for a double bed quilt. The square will be 16 x 16.

This off the top of my head. If you need better instructions, I can post them on Monday.

The star points of the star are flying geese with the points the same color as the star. The inside of the star is 8-1/2' square. Then you need 8 more 4-1/2" square from the same color to make the star.

The outside color is 4 4-1/2" x 8-1/2" rectangles, plus 4 4-1/2" blocks for the corners.

Take the outside rectangle color and two square star colors and make 4 flying geese stips.

Add a block of the outside color to each end of 2 of the flying geese stips. Sew the other two flying geese to the end of the 8-1'2" square.

You should have three strips now. Sew one flying geese strip to each end of the 8-1/2" block. Wa Lah! It's a star.
