This is my practice cake, I'm going to make a lamborghini cake for my bf and his twin brother's birthday in september. I've never carved a cake before, nor used buttercream and fondant before, so that is why I needed to practice the recipes. I want to try using modelling chocolate next time, I think I can get some really awesome details with that. I've worked with sculpture, wood carving, and lots of other arts that would apply here in Fine Arts in college, so I think I have a good base to work with. If I do this again, the arms, legs, and toes will be sculpted in modelling chocolate, and the cake itself will be either mudcake or pound cake, this one was too moise and crumbly.

Be gentle, this is my first cake!
