I want to make a small quilt (maybe a mini or lap size) for a dear friend who (I can't believe how time flies) traveled with me to Europe. This was the first time either of us had flown and went away without our husbands. We were at he time, 40 somethings and going to college!!!! This was a life-changing trip and now we live thousands of miles apart and
my friend has had some serious health problems. I want to make her something that will remind her of our fantastic two weeks in 1989. We traveled to the three countries visiting 2 cities in each.
I'm thinking "Big Ben and bridges", "Eiffel Tower and cafes", " Missions and Bulls" and probably "bottles of wine". If anyone can direct me to a source I would be most grateful.
