Your quilt is absolutely awesome. :D I'm drooling over it. :D Your applique is just amazing.
Have you finally decided how you are going to quilt it yet? I think like Moonpi; it needs the unique quilting motifs of flying birds, ripples in the water and perhaps a ghost animal peeking out of the grasses. Then quilt in the ditch around the window frames.
I'm sure your daughter can't wait to see it done and then call it hers.
