I get my boards from the comic book store and I usually have to cut them down. I have a lot of fat quaters so I get the large board and cut 4 x 6 1/2 out of them. Don't know if this will help you or not. I use the coated large paper clips. The small part of the clip goes over the top of the board and the large end goes over the fabric. This way I don't have to worry about anything rusting and any kind of holes made by the pins. Good luck. BrendaK
