If it is a plastic coated canvas, maybe a different seaming techinique would help. If it is just plastic, heat sealing rather than sewing would probably be your best choice.
Heat sealing i think would be very hard doing ,
i m sure that it is a way to fix this, i am thinking of enforicing with jeans fabric, i will try that 2morrow and we ll see how that works.
