Okay, this actually happened to me the other day.
I rarely warm up the car but Monday morning was a bit chillier than it had been so I thought I'd give it a few minutes. I went out, started the car and then came back in to finish getting ready for work. Makeup on, hair combed I ran downstairs to grab my lunch and purse-where are my keys? I'm frantically searching the kitchen table, the counters, went through my purse twice. Then I ran upstairs and looked in all the places they shouldn't be but might be if Glenn picked them up and used my car for an errand the night before. I'm getting madder and madder, sure Glenn had done something with them. Just as I picked up the phone to call him the lightbulb came on. I couldn't find my keys because they were already in the car that was surely warm by now....sigh...
