My friends, Rus and Millie, had their 50th Anniversary, and several of us made blocks to put together in a quilt for them. Millie has been a mentor to me for many years, and I spent quite a few afternoons at her house for tea. My block is an applique of the living room in her cabin in Alaska, and the book on the table is her favorite devotional.
