It's very hard to get perfectly accurate cut strips. I use it to cut strips for crocheting fabric, making rag rugs and to wrap clothes line for the fabric bowls as the strips don't have to be accurate. I have the bias maker and I use it a lot. It works great but it took practice for me to get perfect binding. I use the bigger tip to make double fold French binding for quilts. I'll take one day and make a box full of ready made binding of all colors and prints.
