I can't address that particular model, but I DO have a Janome 6600P...I love it (generally) but it has a few irritating points, at least to me. When you first push on the foot feed (at least on my machine) it starts out slow as molasses in January and takes its own sweet time to get up to speed...and this is no matter what speed you have it set on. I'm used to my older Bernina...I put it in "race" and she takes off! But all in all, the 6600 is a good machine, and doesn't balk at whatever I've thrown at her. Now if I could just make her "go" like the Bernina, I'd be a happy camper. Price was good, about $1500 in October. Take a chance! Good luck!
