Happy Birthday!! I have both and use them both. My husband gave me the large GO 2 years ago for Christmas. I bought EQ7 about a 1 yr ago. I can't say enough good about both of the. It's nice to print paper piecing from the EQ7 and all kinds of block patterns, amount of fabric needed for a quilt, etc. I think it's something you need to research for yourself and perhaps, if there is someone you know who has one that can show them to you.
