Every time DH takes me to get a new cell phone (he who always has the latest techy phone available), I drive the poor clerks wild with my "demands"- no camera, no bells, no whistles, etc.- I just want a phone that does nothing but make and receive calls. verizon makes a prepaid cellphone that does almost nothing except keep a handy memory dial. you have to buy extra apps to make it do anything fancy-schmancy. i just charge it up, and use it to make and receive. i pop in $100 each year (you can pay per month or quarter if you'd rather) and the phone and charger cost about $15 at radio shack. (actually, it does a few extra things, but i don't even use them.)
