Check out Pennywinkle Farms. I have their Sunshine 16 which is essentially a stripped down 16" longarm that can either be used on top of a table with the accompanying tabletop extension or set into a table approximately the size of a card table that sits on industrial rollers for easy moving. They have more computerized versions, but the totally computer free one cost me under $2000 a few years ago. The only reason I know about them is that I saw them at a show I was vending at. I had been looking for years and was in the same quandary as yourself.
