Morning everyone
One of the easiest quilts for a boy is to find bits of fabric with cars, trucks, construction kinds of vehicles....
Make a nine-patch with those. However, the center square will have an embroidered tool that you have done.
I sashed the quilt with red.

I did one of these for my newest grandson over 14 years ago and he STILL has it on his bed....altho, now it needs some restitching. LOL

(I found all sorts of tool pictures in color books and redrew them for the tool square. )

There was one shown on here the other day that was a lightening bolt. That would make a wonderful boy quilt, too.
