I have had wonderful help finding patterns using this site before and I am needing your help again. I once saw a picture of a quilt somewhere that I'd like to make. I remember it as "Attic Windows" but all the attic Window patterns I find have 4 windows per 1 block. The one I saw, had only 1 window per 1 block. The window blocks were 9", I think. I pulled out all my books and recently received magazines and still have had no luck. There was one prefex picture in a book called "Cats in the Attic", but it had no pattern or link to find one.
I would appreciate any suggestions. :-)
You should be able to draw an attic windows pattern in any size. Get a square ruler and a piece of paper big enough and draw a square the finished size you want and then play with how big you want the square and the frame. When you decide on a proportion that looks good to you add 1/2 inch to each piece and cut scrap fabric and try it out. Then you'll have your own pattern exactly the size you want.
