Wow, we had the same thing happen last week! We woke up to noises in the attic and knew instantly what it was...a squirrel. Called the critter people, he caught 3 squirrels and repaired a hole. It's hard to stay 'squirrel free' when our neighborhood is lined with tree's, neighbor won't trim back his hedges, and the kids next door love feeding them in our driveway.
