Well I did have a picture to post here but will need to just tell you about the picture. I went to delete the bury picture in my phone and it took both of them. Darn smarter than I stuff anyway!
Was in an antique store today and had a tear in my eye when I left. Someone had taken a beautiful Singer treadle out of it's cabinet, built a box like stand for it, then drilled a hole in the top of the arm of the machine and made a lamp base out of the machine. The wheel still turned and the needle worked. At first I thought someone had needed more light. Then it dawned on me there was no treadle to make it work. Looked on the backside to see if a motor had been added. Nope, it was now just a lamp! So sad!!
