WIP layer cake stars
I am having a ball making these brilliant star blocks. I don't usually buy pre-cuts, but I couldn't pass up this 10" layer cake from connecting threads, the price was really good. I added just a few fabrics from my stash, I cut them out on Wed. morning, the blocks really go together quickly. You can't tell from the photo, but the star points are folded, they're not pieced. This really makes for a quick block. I'm not sure yet how I'm going to end up putting them together, right now I'm just enjoying the process of making bright cheerful stars.
