I have used the Coloring Book pages for Kids/boys Quilts before too.... animals, trucks, fish, dogs, buildings, baseball, tractors.. cars etc... Applique is easy, I also did embroidery in blocks too... simple chain stitch... I like the idea of the Bug jar type quilt too... doesn't have to be bugs could be the animals etc.... bold colors.... Have Fun...
