On a side note - a friend of mine got tired of her husband using her good scissors so she bought a bunch of suitcase padlocks. She puts the padlock on the handles so he can't open them to cut anything and the key is on a chain around her neck. Pretty clever idea.
I tried that trick at my house....putting cheap scissors EVERYWHERE and hiding my good ones away in drawers under things and I STILL come home to find my good shears in various places in the house and not a soul seems to know how they got there....my scissor poltergists are 32 and 54 - funnny how I know that
